Licensing, Asset, Contracts and Vendor Manager

This is a key position within the business acting as their external face to the market. You will be a vital business resource within IT delivering advisory services across the business. 
 
You will report in to a high level providing the following services; 
 
- Work with major vendors/suppliers to delivered improved service, value for money and preferential treatment 
- Deliver process improvement in regards to SLAs, contracts and suppliers 
- Act as a business advisor in regards to hardware and software procurement, vendors and suppliers 
- Extensive documentation, internal (Procedures, policies and vendor management software), external (Contracts, SLAs, Invoicing etc) 
- Act a champion of best practices in the licensing, contracts and vendor management space 
- Act as point of contact/account manager for company vendors/suppliers 
 
The prefered candidate will have; 
 
- Extensive Contract management experience 
- Extensive contacts in the Brisbane vendor space 
- Background in asset procurement (Software & Hardware) 
- Ability to work in an enterprise environment with numerous different supplier & Vendors 
- Experience in advising the business in best practices relating to asset management 
- Strong market understanding and market analysis
