Working within the Architecture and Strategy group you will be joining a team of experienced Architects that provide Enterprise, Information and Solution Architecture capabilities.

This is an innovative, national project that will have a positive impact on every Australian.

You will provide architectural consulting, design and review services to both internal and external groups to support product development and implementation of solutions, and integration in to a National Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities of this position are:

  • Developing discreet solutions, solution models and reference architectures for use within the organisation and beyond.
  • Provide architecture expertise and support in a consulting capacity to key external stakeholders and internal customers.
  • Provide architecture review and consulting services to the Solutions and National Infrastructure groups as well as other parties to ensure common and assured architecture approaches.
  • Support the Architecture Development and Delivery Framework, which in turn support the product development lifecycle and delivery of implementation support to selected implementation partners.
  • Development of information and technical solution architectures for the work program in alignment to the strategy.
  • Aiding in the development of change management and implementation plans for internal customers.

You will have the following skills and experience:
  • Significant experience in IT and 3+ years Architecture experience.
  • Broad knowledge and demonstrated experience in lead architecture development in complex, distributed solution spaces
  • Abstract and concrete architectural analysis skills
  • Creativity in developing new approaches and solutions to complex systems problems
  • Thorough understanding of Solution-Oriented Architectures as well as message and event architectures
  • Experience in modelling notations such as UML and BPMN
  • Superior organisational and communication skills

Desirable experience:
  • Delivery of large scale, cross-enterprise wide ICT systems
  • Experience in the generation of business requirements
  • Project management experience
  • Prior involvement in e-health sector
  • Post-graduate degree, or sound business management experience and knowledge
