This forward thinking, progressive organisation has a requirement for an experience Security Solution Architect to join their team of Architects to ensure ICT security and risk strategies are aligned to the greater business.

The Security Solution Architect will review the current As-Is Architecture with regard security of ICT systems and evaluate risks before conducting gap analysis and recommend a future desired state To Be

The role of security Solution Architect will involve:

• Analysing and design strategies and solutions that enable project initiatives whilst managing the risks that ICT solutions
• Providing expert consulting and guidance to the Solution Architects and all business stakeholders.
• Develop and enhance existing Security Solution Architecture Templates
• Design and determine potential solution options that effectively manage the project ICT security risks.
• Provide recommendations on the best approach to meet business needs.

The Required skills and experience for the Security Solution Architect includes:

• Experience in developing IT Security and Risk Strategies
• CISSP, CISM or SANS certification will be high advantageous
• Extensive experience working as a IT security consultant
• Solid experience in the application of ICT risk assessment and management processes
• Strong understanding of Business Impact assessment and Threat Risk Assessment processes.
• Extensive experience in multiple ICT security and risk management domains within a large complex ICT environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with key strategic stakeholders
