The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian is a statutory authority which promotes and protects the rights, interests and wellbeing of all children and young people under the age of 18. Our vision is to build a better life for Queensland children and young people, particularly our most vulnerable by improving the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in Queensland.
 
The role is responsible for providing Service Desk and ICT support to the Commission’s staff, ensuring ????? ????? are managed in a timely fashion and in accordance with agreed standards.
 
Accountabilities of the role include:
  • Attend to client requests relating to the Commission’s business operations in a professional and courteous manner ensuring ????? ????? requests are answered and processed in accordance with agreed service levels and industry best practices, such as ITIL.
  • Record complete and accurate information for requests, including the correct assignment of classification, priority and identification, and actively manage requests to ensure a timely and effective resolution.
  • Install and configure computer hardware and software by applying high level technology expertise.
  • Administer user accounts, workstation groups, and group objects by applying knowledge of Windows Active Directory and MS Server and Exchange.
  • Assist in the effective management of ICT services including the installation, maintenance and administration of local area networks and personal computers and associated peripherals.
