The Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian is a statutory authority which promotes and protects the rights, interests and wellbeing of all children and young people under the age of 18. Our vision is to build a better life for Queensland children and young people, particularly our most vulnerable by improving the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in Queensland.
The role is responsible for the administration and support of the Commission’s business information systems including monitoring ????? ?????, availability and security of the SQL database systems, and undertaking application development in a Microsoft .NET environment, which supports the operating environment of the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian (the Commission).
Accountabilities of the role include:
- Provide technical expertise and support in the planning, analysis, testing and programming of business information systems which underpins the Commission’s business objectives.
- Manage the application testing of business information systems and carry out minor changes to support functionality and ensure systems continue to support and meet business needs.
- Undertake research and analysis of trends and issues to establish strategies to enhance business performance and maximise benefits from business information systems.
