Our East Brisbane based client are a major player in the automotive market supplying a range of specilalised stock both directly to vehicle manufacturers and to aftermarket retail arms.
A role has recently become available for a candidate in the vacant post of Health Safety & Environment Officer.
The Role:
Reporting to the engineering and systems manager your role will be both varied and challenging covering off Health, Safety & Environment responsibilities as well as Quality Control. Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
• HS&E systems compliance
• Quality inspections
• Risk assessments & evaluations
• Customer contact
• Participate in quality and safety audits
• Completion of Safety & Quality control documentation
The Candidate:
In order to be considered for this role it will be expected that you will have a formal qualification in workplace health and safety. You may be a recent graduate who has had some exposure to a manufacturing environment dealing with workplace health & safety issues and or quality control inspection and compliance experience. It will go without saying that you will be a flexible operator, with a high attention to detail who will be prepared to take on a multitude of various challenges.
For the successful applicant this is a great opportunity to get involved in a mixed HS&E and Quality role in a traditional manufacturing environment.
A base salary in the low $50k per annum mark + super will be offered to the successful candidate.
