Site Manager / Night Shift – Cleaning / Food Industry

Our client are a leading technical specialist in the environmental solutions arena with key work involving the ongoing supply and consulting of it’s range of services to various industry sectors such as, agriculture, construction, defence, manufacturing and resource management just to name a few.

Due to the addition of new work gained throughout the organisation a role has recently arisen for a Site Manager to join the organisation.

The role:

Reporting to the Area Manager you will be based at one of our client’s food manufacturing customer’s premises in the Ipswich area. The main responsibilities of your role will include but not be limited to:

• Recruiting and training of all operators & teams leaders

• Drive all company values and behaviours

• Comply with site roles and policies

• Ensure correct cleaning and safety systems are met and adhered to

• Manage day to day plant efficiently and effectively

• Daily visual inspections of cleaning standards

• Ensure agreed standards are met regarding site cleanliness

• Proactively liaising with customers on a regular basis and resolving issues as they arise

• Ensure appropriate documentation is completed and adhered to

• Occasional travel to help with new start up site premises

The candidate:

You will need to be a strong leader with previous experience in a supervisory or management capacity in a past role. You will have a proven understanding of food safety hygiene and general cleaning standards from within a manufacturing environment.

This is an exciting role for a positive person that is looking to take on a new challenge.

Hours of work will be from approximately 10pm to 6am Monday to Friday. A competitive base salary plus super will be offered to the successful candidate.
