Reporting directly to the Occupational Health Manager, this position provides essential Occupational Health and Workers Compensation support to two of our key manufacturing ????? ????? Brisbane and Helidon (near Toowoomba).

The key services this role provides will include:

• Administering ????? ?????-employment & periodic health assessment process for the Group in the Asia Pacific region
• Conducting pre-employment medical assessments for Brisbane Region
• Provide leadership in injury prevention practices and assist with injury management support for the broader IPL Group.
• Assist with the Workers Compensation claims process for the IPL Group, including file management, liaison with key stakeholders, barristers and corporate legal counsel, ensuring ????? ????? & Company compliance for WC & preparation of court/conciliation documents.
• Assist with the submission of claims and the planning, development and co-ordination of rehabilitation plans & programs for IPL Group employees in the local region.
• Administering ????? ????? of all IPL Group health and medical records in accordance with regulations.
• Management of the site first aid center and clinic
• Develop, market and lead monthly health promotions relevant to site requirements and personnel
• Promote and maintain awareness of the company HSEC Policy and Company Values by participating in audits and risk assessments

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate:

• Certification as an RN with a current certificate to practice in Queensland
• Minimum 5 years experience and post grad qualifications in Occupational Health, Emergency, Remote Area  Nursing or similar
• Registration as a Return to Work and Rehabilitation Coordinator
• Previous experience with Audiometry, Spirometry and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support are desirable but not essential
