Team Leader - Quality Control & Compliance
The Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie’s retail client base with operations in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe. BFS provides a diverse range of retail banking and wealth management products and services to intermediaries, businesses and the end consumer.
Adviser & Client Services (ACS) within BFS Service & Operations manages all communication and processing functions for independent financial advisers and their clients. Products serviced from ACS include the Cash Management Trust (CMT), Cash XL, Cash Management Account (CMA), Term Deposits, Superannuation, Managed Funds, Alternative Assets, and Life Insurance.
Due to significant growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Quality Control & Compliance team. The team specialises in checking of all transactions processed including account/product applications, redemptions, and account maintenance for advisers and their clients. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of administrators, ensuring ????? ????? are managed and work is actioned within agreed cut-off times. There is also an emphasis on staff coaching and development to enhance knowledge and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of excellent solution focused service with end to end accountability
- Provide ongoing coaching and direction to team members
- Checking accuracy and quality of output by the team
- Conduct performance management activities
- Resolve escalated adviser and client complaints
- Manage the workload of the team
- Ensure all processes and procedures are undertaken in accordance with established company, ASX & ASIC standards
Ideally you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications
- RG146 compliance
- Team leader experience
- Banking / Financial Services industry experience
- Enthusiasm and desire to be part of a successful team
- Flexibility and Can-Do attitude
