Development of a cohesive, safe and capable air traffic management system requires the development of communications, satellite and RADAR technology. Ongoing changes to this framework, including upgrades, replacement systems and system redundancies, require effective and experienced project management.
This role will see you managing multiple complex projects at multiple remote locations, using proven project management methods. You are an experienced and career project manager, who can apply stringent methodology to the majority of scenarios and projects.
A proven communicator you are able to liaise with a variety of stakeholders. A self starter, this opportunity will see you;

Reporting directly to the programme director you will be able to deliver on complex and safety critical projects. You have an excellent understanding of standard project methodology, including PMBOK and/or PRINCE2. Experience in a matrix based organisation will ensure your success in this role along with a tenacious and dedicated personality.
This role will see you managing a variety of unique and interesting challenges that surround major capital works projects with significant outsourcing, remote locations and safety aspects.
You are a proven project manager with both significant and complex project experience. You are looking for a role that will provide both career opportunities and challenges.
Qualified in Project Management you will have a minimum Graduate Diploma in project management with at least 5 years proven experience. You may have experience from a similar environment; telecommunications, navigational aids, mobile, satellites, aviation, radio etc, but it is your Project Management experience that is the key to this role.
