Senior Engineer - Waterways and Coastal Planning

  • One of our major clients in the public sector require the services of a Senior Engineer for Waterways and Coastal Planning qualified in civil or environmental engineering ????? ????? a team of proven professionals who are committed to protecting the waterways of the Sunshine Coast community.

    Based at the picturesque Sunshine Coast, you will be responsible for the provision of general support and specialist waterway and coastal management planning advice to the Principal Engineer in Drainage, Waterways and Coastal Planning, Management, Senior Staff and Officers as required.

    As an experienced Senior Engineer you will ensure:

    • Effective and efficient planning, coordination and stakeholder consultation on waterway and coastal management planning and infrastructure projects including compiling and presenting complex strategic and technical reports

    • Effective delivery of advance planning for the Drainage, Waterways and Coastal management annual and multi-year works program including streamlining the Project Delivery through ensuring ????? ????? for Drainage and Waterways Infrastructure Planning projects are in place

    • Monitoring ????? ????? changes in Waterway and Coastal Management and planning responses, maintain current knowledge of flood plain and coastal planning practice and theory relevant to local government and provide specialist advice to The Principal Engineer - Drainage, Waterways and Coastal Planning, Management and staff on emerging issues
