City Assets is a leading high profile department within Brisbane City Council that specialises in providing strategic direction, solutions and expert advice in the management of Brisbane City's physical assets.
This is a sensational opportunity to work within the structural team of City Assets. You will be focusing on developing strategies and management plans for major and minor infrastructure assets, predominantly bridges and culverts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- provision of expert engineering ????? ????? developing best-practice whole-of-life strategic asset management strategies for the management of structural assets
- developing a program of rehabilitation, continuity and maintenance work plans factoring ????? ????? and cost
- monitoring ????? ????? of Brisbane CityWorks and City Design and other stakeholders through auditing, status reporting, inspections
- managing Council’s assets in accordance with asset management strategies and link outcomes with other programs and corporate service delivery requirements
- establishing and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
To be considered for the role, you will have:
- extensive experience in all aspects design, construction and/or maintenance/rehabilitation of civil and structural infrastructure
- good understanding of strategic asset management principles in relation to these assets
- demonstrated experience in establishing audit programs, researching and analysing data with proven ability to plan, manage, and monitor projects
- high level communication skills both written and verbal to effectively build and maintain working relationships with team members, customers, contractors and consultants.
