Manager

Department of Infrastructure and Planning/Brisbane

Temporary Full-time until 30 June 2010 with Possible Extension

Your key accountabilities

Undertake research and analysis and develop building and plumbing policy, legislation, codes and standards with an emphasis on safety, health, sustainability and amenity, particularly swimming pool safety.

Implement building and plumbing policies, programs and projects within minimal supervision on time and to a high standard, including leading and motivating a team.

Interpret legislation, codes, standards, policies, guidelines and practices related to building and plumbing and provide high quality written and oral advice as required.
