APS4 OAWG Assistant State Manager & APS2 OAWG Field Officer

OFFICE OF AUSTRALIAN WAR GRAVES

As a member of the Office of Australian War Graves (OAWG), you will be part of a small team based at the Queensland Garden of Remembrance, Pinnaroo, responsible for structural and horticultural maintenance of war cemeteries and post war commemorations throughout south and central Queensland and northern New South Wales. You will require a current driver’s licence and be prepared to undertake some travel to regional areas.

Duties include assisting in planning and supervision of horticultural and structural maintenance activities and supervision of contractors and general tasks relating to the maintenance of war graves.

FIELD OFFICER

APS 2, OAWG Band, $43,390 - $47,463p.a.

Duties include turf maintenance, cultivation, pruning, and treatment of plant diseases; operation and maintenance of equipment including mowing and irrigation equipment; and general tasks relating to the maintenance of war graves.
