With expanding roads infrastructure programs and some of the most significant projects being implemented in the last decade, one of our highly respected government clients is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead their highly professional Roads Design teams.

As an energizing and highly experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer your role will be to ultimately manage, plan, deliver and monitor the design of transport infrastructure projects to achieve the desired technical and commercial outcomes.

You will additionally enjoy coordinating specific projects including the preparation of civil engineering ????? ?????, drawings and contract documentation associated with transport infrastructure projects in consultation with clients and key stakeholders.

As an ideal candidate for this excellent opportunity you will offer:

• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering relevant to the position and have attained or be eligible for registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland.
  
  
• Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated broad practical experience in designing roads and bikeways including an understanding of drainage design, traffic design and traffic control devices.
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to manage and co-ordinate high performance professional multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex projects of varying complexity, scope and nature with a strong focus on resource utilisation, output, delivery and customer service.
  
  
• Demonstrated superior oral and written communication skills expected of a co-ordinator of a design team (including consultative, interpersonal, negotiation and report writing skills).
