This leading contracting and engineering ????? ????? work in hand in excess of $6 billion. They have approximately 3,000 employees and their offices are based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and the ACT. Other offices are in Darwin, Newcastle and Townsville.
Their office is urgently seeking an experienced Estimator to manage the preparation of commercial construction tender submissions.
You will be responsible for:
- planning and executing accurate and competitive tender submissions;
- assisting the operations team in the analysis and recommendation of construction methods and selection of suitable subcontractors;
- identifying and detailing any cost specific risks and opportunities associated with tender submissions;
- supporting the development of process improvement across the pre-contract function.
To be successful is this key role, you will have:
- Tertiary Qualifications preferred in Building (Construction Management), Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline;
- 5+ years experience in first principles estimating using estimating software packages, and covering ????? ????? of contracting forms;
- Australian construction industry experience;
- Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to present to peers and management
