DCO Brisbane has a 12 month non-ongoing maternity leave vacancy in need of filling by an experienced and suitably qualified social worker. The preferred applicant will be one who can transfer their skills towards assisting families in managing the competing demands of service life, periods of separations, transitions, stressful family relationships and those who have skills working with grief and loss. Strong assessment, case planning and report writing skills are essential.
As DCO also has social work positions in Amberley, Cairns and Townsville, this recruitment round will also be used to establish an Order of Merit pool from the list of suitable applicants which may be used to fill similar position/s in the event a position/s becomes vacant within the 12 months from gazettal date of this position.
