Fundraising Manager-Children's Charity-North Brisbane-Immediate Start-Contract

$30/hr - $35/hr + super

We are urgently looking for a Fundraising Manager to work for a Children’s Charity based in North Brisbane until Xmas.

Purpose:
•Raise funds through new and existing fundraising programs.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with fundraising partners.
•Successfully select fundraising activities that are financially successful, while protecting the good name of the Charity and the integrity of the cause.
•Provide guidance of programs to enhance fundraising efforts
•Funds raised through community and corporate involvement and support
•Increasing community and corporate support for our cause
•Long term relationships with community and corporate partners
•Selection of fundraising activities that are financially successful
•Protection of the good of the Charity and the integrity of the cause
•Risk management
•Project management
•Win-win negotiations
•Guidance of fundraising programs run by third parties and supply of collateral resources to increase the success of fundraising activities

Responsibilities:
•Expand Christmas Appeal in North QLD.
•Develop relationships and fundraising activities within the communities of North Queensland
•Liaise with the Foundations in the regions and support their fundraising activities.
•Grow the strong existing relationship with a large sponsor through merchandise campaigns, fundraising wellness campaigns, events and community fundraising.
•Develop travel programs under the guidance of the Director of Fundraising to raise significant funds.
•Assist third party community fundraisers run golf days, special events, campaigns and appeals.
•Assist with marketing and fundraising ideas and execution, in particular the use of new web 2.0 fundraising strategies.

You will need:
•Experience in a similar role
•Experience in a Not for Profit or Charity
•To be able to start immediately
