With billions of dollars of committed projects on line, they seek to appoint an experienced Environmental/GIS Consultant to lead their GIS capability within their central Brisbane team.
Suitably qualified within the environmental field, and with complex GIS skills, you will take responsibility for project management and quality for geospatial projects, managing the geospatial aspect of other large projects. Given your quality focus, you will be instrumental in the ongoing development of standards and procedures for GIS within the group, in addition to mentoring ????? ????? team.
Projects range in size, but are known for their complex nature. The office environment is relaxed and inclusive; free from the hierarchy of global groups. Skills & Experience:
Relevant tertiary degree in environmental science or equivalent
5-7+ years Australian experience in GIS analysis and map production; spatial analysis, within a commercial environment
Working knowledge of environment legislation, preferably in QLD/NSW
Strong communication skills
