Team Leader - Social Sustainability/Stakeholder Consultation

GHD's Brisbane based Sustainability Group has an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who wishes to join our established Social Sustainability team. This position offers the opportunity to play a major role within a well-established global network of social sustainability professionals, with the opportunity for national and international work. You will have a passion for social sustainability and stakeholder consultation, with the capability to work across a range of industry sectors. You will be involved in a wide range of social sustainability and stakeholder engagement projects, consultation and communications, social impact assessments, social planning programs, social research; providing advice, input and leadership on large scale projects. To be successful in this position, you will have: - A minimum of 8 years experience in one or more of the following areas:
Stakeholder Engagement
Communications
Social Impact Assessments
- A proven track record in managing community / stakeholder engagement processes on large/high profile multi disciplinary projects, ideally across a variety of industry sectors
- Strong Project Management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A flair for networking and relationship building
- A resilient, professional and enthusiastic nature with the drive to take ownership
- Innovative problem solving skills within a demanding commercial environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to identify, scope, budget and deliver a diverse range of projects
The following experience & qualifications is also desirable: - Previous experience within a consultancy environment
- Experience in client relationship management and business development
- Formal qualifications in Social Science, Communications / Journalism / Public Relations
