My client is a National Icon in Transport and Logistics and has continually entrenched itself as the market leader in providing tailored 3rd Party distribution solutions to producers, manufacturers and retailers.
 
Due to internal restructuring, a rare opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Terminal Manager to join the team south of Brisbane.  Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Container Terminal in relation to the efficient transport and distribution of customer products throughout Brisbane and Nth Qld.  This will include managing a medium to large team of staff to meet set KPI's in relation to distribution efficiencies within the facility.
 
To be successful in this role it is highly desirable that you have experience working with containers or rail transportation.  It would also be desirable if you have experience working in a high volume container park environment.
 
To be considered for this role you will also possess:
 

• Strong man management skills
• Experience in a similar managerial role
• Experience with FCL and LCL
• Working knowledge transport operations (Rail or Containers)
• Strong focus on promoting Workplace Health and Safety on site
