Medical Receptionist/ Typist
A full-time Medical Receptionist/ Typist position is available at our practice in the Wesley Hopsital in Brisbane. This is a joint-venture practice between The Wesley Hospital and Southernex Imaging Group- a member of the I-MED Network in QLD.
Experience with Promedicus or a similar system is desirable but not essential.
As a Medical Receptionist/ Typist, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Typing of radiological reports on behalf of the Radiologist
- Greeting and processing of all patients
- Making patient appointments
- Checking patient details against booking and ensuring on-going preparation is performed as required
- Raising correct patient accounts after diagnostic procedures
- Ensuring all banking and receipting is correct and performed on a daily basis
- Assisting the Office Manager
To be successful in this 'front of house position' you will have:
- Fast, accurate medical typing skills and experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for work
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and initiative.
- Ability to adapt and respond to change
