An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Process Engineer to join the Brisbane team.  Based within the South Queensland Operating Centre, this is a fantastic career opportunity to secure a position within an established and successful business.
 
Joining the Hydrocarbon Processing team, you will bring ????? ?????; deliver innovative and sustainable solutions whilst providing a range of services from conceptual development through to project delivery.  The successful applicant will have a minimum of 7 years experience as a Process Engineer within a petrochemical environment. Experience in the Coal Seam Gas industry would be an advantage.
 
As a highly motivated individual you will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.   You will work collaboratively with other experienced Process Engineers within a project environment and mentor junior engineers and assume lead responsibility on a variety of projects within the Brisbane office.
 
Various responsibilities encompassed in this role will include:

• Reviewing and approving process calculations for the sizing of compressors, flow lines, control valves and other process equipment and instruments


• Preparation and/or approval of P&IDs and other engineering ????? ?????


• Coordinating and performing process safety reviews and HAZOPS and initiating their closeout


• Summarising results of process calculations in report or memorandum format, making recommendations and providing the technical approval for all reports


• Ensuring ????? ????? of all process-engineering ????? ????? the balance of the work team


• Troubleshooting process problems, analysing and recommending solutions


• Reviewing and approving process simulations using specialised software eg. Hysys, Fluid Flow, Flowtran
