This large Australian owned company has overseas business interest and extensive overseas distributors. The company has strong sales figures in Asia and Europe and after breaking into the international market they are now restructuring their finance team to cope with the increase in demand.

Working within a team of 7-10, you will be responsible for overseeing the 3x accounts officers and will directly report to the Financial Controller.

Your responsibilities will include: Management of all major supplier accounts, HR matters (terminations, new employees, and contracts), payroll, payroll general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and resolution of variances. The focus for this position is to be hands-on with accounts payable, payroll and general ledger whilst also having supervisory duties.

This position would suit a candidate with experience from a medium to large organisation and who has been in a similar role. The ideal candidate will also have strong communication skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Candidates who have been in an Assistant Accountant role whilst overseeing accounts support staff are preferable!!
 
Salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 + superannuation.
