FIRST CLASS SHEET METAL WORKERS
Trade qualification as a first class sheet metal worker.
Great base rate and plenty of Overtime available.
Experience with stainless and/or mild steel fabrication
Our client is a well established, industry-leading company with facilities worldwide. They design, engineer and build the machinery that creates and packages prepared meats, poultry and seafood, french fries, baked and fried snacks, and other quality foods.
We are currently seeking applications from trade qualified First Class Sheet Metal. Positions based at Mt Gravatt Brisbane. Exceptional rates for skilled and experienced trades persons, excellent working conditions in a modern manufacturing ????? ?????.
You must be available to work day and afternoon shifts and some weekend work may also be required.
Role Requirements:
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Fabricate parts using trade skills from the specifications in technical drawings.
- Operate sheet metal related plant and equipment safely and in accordance with employers instructions.
Core Competencies include the following:
- Completion of trade qualification as a first class sheet metal worker.
- Experience as a sheet metal worker with stainless and/or mild steel fabrication, preferably in a role
- related to the food industry.
- Excellent TIG and MIG welding skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise work.
- Ability to work conscientiously and showing initiative.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and/or as part of a team.
