TECHNICAL SALES SPECIALIST

  • Our client is a leading distributor of engineered environmental solutions in Australia. Their expertise includes solutions in retaining wall structures, slope reinforcements, hydraulic structures, drainage systems, rock-fall protection, erosion production, mine dump walls structure, sludge dewatering ????? ????? and landscaping.  

    Core Competencies include the following:  

    • Experience and qualifications in the following fields would be highly regarded-                       
        • Civil Engineer 
        • Technical industrial sales 
        •  Environmental sales 
    • Experience  working with geosynthetics products would be highly regarded 
    • Ability to work closely with Subcontractors and Suppliers 
    • Local (QLD) sales experience is essential  
    • Current Drivers Licence 

    You will be required to have an overall understanding of the Company Quality System, its objectives and to comply with the responsibilities listed in the project specific Quality, Safety and Environmental Plans. 

    Role Requirements: 

    • To promote, market and sell all products as per the companys marketing and sales policies 
    • To constantly assess product positioning and monitor the performance of all products manufactured and / or distributed by the company 
    • To attend job construction sites on a regular basis 
    • To prepare case studies of projects you are associated with 
    • Provide weekly/ monthly sales reports to the sales director 
    • Insure company quality management systems ate followed 
    • Perform visual inspections on goods requested to be returned from customers 
    • To travel within the designated territory- Hemmant to Bundaberg 
    • To attend courses and seminars relating to new products and training 
    • Prepare clear and concise summaries of expenditure specific to the territory 
    • Accept orders from customers and review / perform contracts reviews  
    • Comply with all company Occupational Health and Safety obligations, procedures and requirements  
    • Report any hazards or incidents with have a potential to course injury 
    • Be familiar with the trades practices act requirements and ensure compliance 

    This position will involve travel from Hemmant to Bundaberg on a regular basis. 

    The successful candidate will have excellent time management, organisation and planning skills, a good level of written and verbal communication skills will be critical in dealing with various site stakeholders.
