Senior Geologist

 

Arrow Energy is seeking a Senior Geologist to join their team based in the Brisbane CBD.
  
Reporting to the Exploration Manager (NSW), the successful candidate will assist with the planning, management and control of Arrow's exploration and pilot programs in Australia and internationally. This position will initially be Brisbane based, but will involve extensive field work in NSW.

The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor degree majoring ????? ?????, and will have extensive experience in coal exploration and sound knowledge of exploration techniques, coal geology and coal properties, including resource evaluation procedures. In addition, they will be familiar with safety management processes and procedures, including incident investigation and risk management processes, particularly in relation to exploration activities.
  
This role will suit a candidate who has experience with industry software for storage of data, geological modelling, planning and scheduling. You will require demonstrated knowledge of tenement management matters in order to ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and obligations, and you will be familiar with stakeholder management matters including land access, cultural heritage and overlapping tenement and native title.
