Established national mining organisation is at the forefront of the Mining & Resources sector, is looking for a Senior Mine Planner due to their strong pipeline of work in 2009-2010.
With a strong presence in the industry, and they are a leader in training and career development, providing an environment where high achievers can flourish and develop their skills on exciting projects in Australia.
Role:
Provide mine planning expertise to a number of project teams
Assist in mine expansions, tenders and feasibilities
Input to mine costings, estimating and optimisation of production and machinery.
Assist in the overall organisation goals and objectives within a team environment
Ideal Candidates:
Degree qualified in Mining or Engineering
Proven track record in mine planning open-pit experience essential
Technical competent ie Vulcan, Xpac and Minescape
Extensive knowledge of green and brown field sites
Strong interpersonal skills written and verbally
