Senior Mining Engineer - Underground
Residential based in Central QLD
Technically competent in underground operations
5+ years Mining Experience
This International and well branded Mining organisation with many open cut and underground mines throughout QLD, NSW and overseas, has a vacancy in their technical services team for a senior mine planning engineer with underground mining experience, preferably in coal.

Responsibility:
Provide leadership to the mining & waste management teams and provide a clear strategic direction as required
Establish scope of works for pre-feasibility/feasibility studies. Identifying, assessing and scoping mitigation studies for disciplined risks
Develop mine plans, metallurgical & environmental studies to ensure a strategy is developed with the overall project strategy and costs
Manage and mentor a small team of engineers
Requirements:
Degree qualified in Mining
Minimum 5 years experience within underground operations, coal experience is desirable
Technically competent - Strong analytical skills and project experience
Computer literate.
Competent level of client service management, building relationships with existing and potential clients
