Circa $70k-$85k plus super.

Our client is a global organisation with a focus in niche market areas. Due to expansion they are now seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to assist in the next company growth phase.

Daily duties will include:

• Developing business form a panel of Brokers
• Identifying Brokers to form alliances and partnerships with.
• Ensure that effective relationships are formed between internal Underwriters and the Brokers.
• Assist in the cross-selling of new products to clients.

Essentially, you will be responsible for increasing sales and profitability within the organisation.  You will possess exceptional communication skills and have a passion for insurance. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and schedule your own workload. You will have the ability to assist others to hit sales targets and cultivate ongoing, long term relationships.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record as an Underwriter or, preferably, as an Underwriting BDM.
