Systems Design / Engineer - Rail

This is an excellent opportunity for your career - the following experience is must to be successful:

• Tertiary qualifications in Systems / Electrical Engineering or a related engineering or technical discipline.
• Experience in high integrity systems engineering possibly in real-time and/or embedded environments.
• Knowledge of formal systems engineering practices in one or more mission / safety critical domain ? Defence, Rail, Aerospace
• Knowledge of Rail Signalling is highly regarded and is mandatory for more senior roles.

The role will include:

• Delivery of requirements, architecture and designs for the end products of R&D development programs/projects.
• Function and design recovery for existing systems, products and components as necessary to establish new specification baselines.
• Review of hardware and software lifecycle artefacts during development and conduct of system integration tests.
• Investigation and resolution of system or product level technical issues in hardware development, software development and system integration, cooperatively with safety engineering, verification and validation functions.
• Estimating, planning and delivering system engineering artefacts on time, according to budget and to required quality and safety integrity levels.
