To ensure we continue our Australian expansion as a top tier contractor, we now seek to further complement our successful building team through the appointment of a Design & Construct (D&C) Manager.

Reporting to our GM of Building, you will operate out of our Brisbane office, and will be responsible for the conversion of D&C opportunities for Laing O’Rourke in line with our business risk profiles and profitability targets. You will manage the Laing O’Rourke project management and design management team to ensure performance and business objectives are maximised. You will be actively involved in extensive research, refinement and strategy profiling to ensure key accountabilities are achieved.

You will be well versed and be able to demonstrate success in ensuring ????? ????? are in place on all live conversion projects. In addition you will lead design reviews on all projects at key milestone stages enabling design risks and opportunities to be closed out.

Establishing and coordinating external “key” consultants, cost planning, conversion programming and cost control will ensure you are in full control of all D&C projects.

You will play a key role in the further expansion of a successful, ambitious team whose objective is firmly focused on expansion , in addition you will become another important link in the global Laing O’Rourke team.

This is a senior role within our team and hence the successful candidate will be remunerated at a level reflective of this.
