PROJECT ENGINEER

 

  • Tertiary Qualifications essential

  • Local Experience is essential

  • Previous experience with Main Road or QR would be highly regarded.
  • Our client is an Australian owned company that specialises in major engineering ????? ????? construction works. They offer a complete engineering, construction and project management service to local, national and internationally based clients working within Australia.

    Core Competencies include the following: 

    • Relevant experience and qualifications in the Civil Engineering ????? ?????
    • Ability to work closely with Clients, Subcontractors and Suppliers 
    • Senior First Aid training  
    • Current Drivers Licence 

    You will be required to have an overall understanding of the Company Quality System, its objectives and to comply with the responsibilities listed in the project specific Quality, Safety and Environmental Plans.

    Role Requirements: 

    •  Contract administration
    • Project planning and programming 
    • Job costing and reporting 
    • Preparation of progress claims and variations 
    • Preparation and implementation of Project Management Plan and Procedures 
    • Prepare and implement safe work procedures 
    • Prepare and implement emergency procedures and plans 
    • Enforce environmental and safety awareness by attending toolbox meetings and regular audits 
    • Monitor environmental and safety performance 
    • Attend site meetings 
    • Attend project management team meetings 
    • Investigate any site non-conformances 
    • Preparation of final contract reports 
    • Attend Engineers Meetings  

     This position will involve travel throughout the state on a regular basis for project duration.

     The successful candidate will have excellent time management, organisation and planning skills, a good level of written and verbal communication skills will be critical in dealing with various site stakeholders.  

    A salary package will be negotiated reflecting your level of previous experience.
