In a growing market for electrical asset services in the infrastructure industry, this organization is currently heavily involved in the high voltage substation, transmission and distribution sectors. They are involved in substation construction and pumping stations with a variety of Brownfield and Greenfield projects throughout South East Queensland. Their project scope is spread throughout Australia on the panel for key government utilities clients both in Queensland and interstate. The other side of their business is made up of distribution projects inclusive of URD, HV industrial and overhead line work.

Due to an increase in workload, they currently have a requirement for a Queensland Electrical Design Manager.

Reporting into the National Design Manager you will have the following responsibilities:
In charge of primary and secondary substation design teams
Technical discussions and project management interface with government clients
Completing design packages in conjunction with the engineering ????? ?????
The ideal applicant will be an experienced Substation Design Manager who is a degree qualified Electrical Engineer with experience managing a design team on substation projects. We are looking for someone from a consultancy background or contracting background with experience dealing with government electricity providers who has proven ability in successfully leading a team to complete design packages for substation projects.
