The ideal candidate will be able to fully participate in an integrated, multi-disciplinary electrical design and construction management team that delivers cost effective, practical engineering ????? ????? construction solutions.
Typical Project Work:
- Preparation of major equipment, station service, and balance-of-plant contract technical specifications and tender packages for generating stations
- Performance of conceptual and detailed engineering ????? ?????, engineering ????? ?????, and contingency analysis Review of vendor submissions
- Site inspections and construction monitoring
For the following equipment:
- Oil-filled power transformers
- Dry-type power transformers
- Switchgear (metal clad and arc-proof)
- Motors and motor control centres
- Cables, trays, and conduits
- Grounding systems
- Diesel generating sets
The ideal candidate will have most of the following:
- Over 10 years of electrical engineering ????? ?????.
- Experience in commissioning, maintenance, or construction management is an asset
- Knowledge of transformer and switchgear selection and sizing, cabling and inter-connections, and protection application for equipment rated LV, MV & HV
- Experience for designing one-line, three-line, schematic, and wiring ????? ?????; general layout drawings; material lists; and cable schedules
- Experience creating tender document packages including drawings and specifications
- A working knowledge of power systems, grounding, generators, excitation systems, governors, and instrumentation
- Very good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively work with a team of professionals and support staff
- Experience managing junior and intermediate level staff
