Our clients are a well established British Project Management and Cost Management consultancy practice that specialises in the pricing, design review and supervision of building construction projects in the UAE.
Having been in the gulf for over 30 years they have built up a well established client portfolio that has seen them have a steady stream of repeat work added to their order book year on year. Their latest venture is a new build 32 story residential tower to be situated on Reem Island in Abu Dhabi and having just had all the piling and enabling work completed they are in a position to move on to site to press ahead with the full construction phase.
To this end they are seeking to employ a professional client facing Project Manager with no less than 10 years experience to sit on this job and drive it through to completion and handover. The project in question is a 22 month job which will require candidates who have preferably worked in the gulf before and have delivered a similar project through the project lifecycle.
Ideally you will already be on the ground in the UAE and be immediately available. You will be a degree holder from a western university (e.g. civil engineering, construction management or equivalent) have a consultancy background and a stable work history. With plenty of work to be awarded in 2010 this organization is expecting many new schemes to come on line so there will be opportunities beyond this role for candidates wanting to enhance their careers with a reputable company.
