Civil Estimating Manager, Leading Contractor, Brisbane Position

My client is seeking a professional estimating manager to join their industry leading company here in the Brisbane CBD. They have been very clear in saying that they are looking for an individual that has local experience and is up to date with market rates and current suppliers. The company in question is an internationally recognized contractor with both building and civil components. Being one of Australias better known construction firms they are setting the precedent when it comes to their projects and methods of build. Career progression and internal recognition is of the utmost importance within this industry leader, they give credit when credit is due and are at the forefront of internal training and career advancement.
Currently, my client is seeking a senior estimator to join their civil infrastructure component. The current team is a close knit group that all work closely together to gain the best result. They are looking for someone to direct and lead the team and be the direct report for the division. We are looking for a candidate that has had a minimum of 5 years in major estimation, in a management type role and that has specialized in the civil area.
My client is looking for an experienced candidate and an attractive remuneration package will be put forward for the successful applicant. You will work very closely with the construction manager and provide expertise to other estimators along side the tender team.
