Principal Highways Engineer - Take the lead as this global group expands - Set to double in size by 2010, this independent, employee owned, global specialist is the silent partner on many of the world's most complex projects. Within their Brisbane office, they enjoy the best of both worlds; a global reputation that accompanies winning multiple awards for innovation; all within a boutique consulting environment - specialists within the transport and infrastructure sector.
Their workbook is global and includes strategic transport projects across sectors, so whilst other consultants in the market are concerned of slowing down, this group is preparing ????? ????? further over the next 12 months, recently moving into larger, premium office space in the CBD.
As part of their strategic expansion plans, their latest opportunity is for an experienced Civil Engineer to lead and expand their highways design team, to support their diverse transportation business. Suited to a proven client manager, the Engineer must have a strong background in the design of transport infrastructure projects plus a proven ability to deliver on such projects.
Based in Brisbane but working as part of a National team, you will report to an inspirational leader with a strong network of contacts, however the successful applicant will be afforded the autonomy needed to get the job done and the support of the business to uncover new business opportunities.

What we're looking for:
- An entrepreneurial Civil Engineer
- Transport infrastructure design experience is essential
- Qualifications and commercial experience in civil engineering; RPEQ (or eligibility) essential
- Excellent consulting and presentation skills
- A "politcally aware" individual that is adept at managing relationships between government and private sector stakeholders
