At Expect A Star we are currently on the look out for a professional director with exceptional leadership and management skills. The client we are representing requires a director to manage, run and be the driving force behind a 70 place centre located in Eight Mile Plains. As the director for this centre you will be responsible for a close knit team of childcare professionals. This centre has a very low staff turnover.

This centre is privately owned, has close ties with the local community and has an excellent reputation. This is a rare opportunity to become a part of a fantastic team of people.

In order to apply for this position you will need to;

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a Director  
• Have completed an your Diploma in Children's Services or above
• Be able to build rapport easily and quickly with parents, staff and children
• Have experience managing a team of staff
• Have an understanding of the business side of running a centre, from financial, to staffing, to regulations and accreditation. 
• Have the dedication, vision and understanding of the childcare industry to continue to lead this fantastic centre in the right direction.
• A teaching background would be highly desirable
