Randstad Construction, Property and Engineering is working in conjunction with one of the leading Global Cost Management consultancies in Melbourne. Due to their continuing success, they are well positioned in Australia managing a range of portfolios in the private and public sectors including commercial, health and education along with key blue chip clients. To continue their success they are seeking an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor and Senior Cost Manager to join their Melbourne office.
As an Associate with this organisation you will be empowered to develop the team and the business with the Directors. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients and have high responsibilities in managing key accounts nationally. You will be required to have expert knowledge for the main procurement methodologies, along with strong technical grounding in all areas of cost management and quantity surveying. Along with working on key accounts you will have the opportunity to identify new areas of the business to expand and grow.
To be successful at this role, a person with tertiary qualifications in the building sector and accredited by the AIQS is desired. Experience working in the Melbourne market and knowledge for local procurement methodologies is highly sought after. An ability to communicate and have strong work ethic will also be key to having success in this position.
