Interesting role within the Major Projects Division of a secure public sector employer with a genuine commitment to providing a challenging and stimulating environment that allows a true work life balance.
The major projects division is responsible for the delivery a water and waste water Asset Creation Programme by coordinating the planning, scheduling, estimating and delivery of the entire programme.
The key responsibilities of this role are to plan, develop and maintain the Water & Wastewater Asset Creation Programme master schedule in consultation the project directors, project managers, design managers and contract managers. To monitor project progress against the master schedule and provide reports on programme status including forecast of schedule progress and milestone dates.
Additional responsibilities will include providing expert advice on time planning and scheduling of projects as well as provide peer review of project schedules and cost plans as required.
Applications are invited from candidates who can demonstrate ability in the use of project management software including Primavera P3e/P6 suite, for the scheduling of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will have extensive experience in the planning, scheduling and monitoring of major infrastructure projects with a strong focus on outcomes and effectiveness. Tertiary qualifications in project management, construction management, engineering and/or AIPM certification at the CPPM level (or similar) will be highly regarded.
A good remuneration package will be offered comprising a base salary in the range of $105,000 - $111,000 per annum plus 14% superannuation. On top of this a laptop, mobile phone, home internet allowance, one professional membership and professional development allowance (5% of base salary) will all be provided.
