The Position
Reporting to the Queensland General Manager, your purpose within this team will be to ensure the successful delivery of design and construct projects within budget and time parameters. Your strong communication, administrative and planning skills will complement your ability to manage and drive a team towards a mutual goal and help in the delivery of projects including meeting deadlines, financial targets, design objectives and management of site staff and subcontractors. You will also be proficient in the management of the safety plan and ensuring ????? ????? are aware of the objectives.
Your main day to day duties will include:
Post contract change orders to current drawings
Prepare project schedule with assistance from the project manager and superintendent for schedule update
Assist with preparing ????? ????? start-up and closeout checklists
Support and put in place the companys project quality planning process
Contact subcontractors for proposes of bid solicitation
Contact suppliers for proposed bid agreements
Provide input into project tracking for critical points of impact
Implement procedures for meeting the statutory government requirements
Your success in this role will be a testament to your proven experience in commercial construction on similar sized projects. Ideally you possess formal qualifications in Project Engineering ????? ????? discipline, or have developed a successful career from an extensive trade background. Most importantly, you are a high achiever who thrives on the challenge and sense of achievement that results from delivering ????? ????? projects to satisfied clients.
