With a steady workload and a successful conversion-rate the focus of the role is not to under-cut or take risk’s, but to use their stream-lined systems and take advantage of their strong relationships with QLD’s premier sub-contractor base.
Duties will include:
Vetting of the tender documents for any specific programme limitations or restrictions or which may have an impact on our tender.
Electronic preparation of Bills of Quantities if required (Builders quantities).
Co-ordination of the electronic distribution of tender documentation to suitable subcontractors and suppliers.
Liaise with Project Planner to develop tender programme
Arrange & chair any necessary internal pre-tender submission meetings and tender adjudication meeting.
Conclude all pricing of the BoQ and Preliminaries, complete subcontract comparisons.
- Attend post tender meetings/negotiations with the client’s representatives.
Value Engineering ????? ????? and post tender stage
The successful estimator will have a proven background working on projects up to $20M.
