This well established not for profit organisation has been caring for Australians and their communities for nearly 200 years. This organisation is a non-profit, independent organisation with the purpose of creating inclusive communities. A new project is being undertaken and an opportunity exists for an Interim Practice Manager for a 6 month contract. The focus of this role is to ensure the development, direction, performance and system implementation of this new multi-purpose health facility.
Your key responsibilities whilst in this role will be:
- Identifying key partners to develop key working relationships and negotiate contracts
- Promotion of the practice within the community
- Establish and recruit the key staff to operate within the practice
- Develop appropriate protocols, policies and procedures
- Coordinate the financial and risk management processes
- Lead the direction and delivery of the practice ensuring the development, implementation and monitoring of business plans, operational plans and budgets for the practice
The successful applicant will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and managing a multipurpose community centre
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in the areas of managing maternity, women’s health, social care or related industries
- Open Drivers License
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating the business elements of a practice
- Knowledge of public and private health and community service sector
- Strong experience in project management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
