Business Services Manager - Succession planning for Partnership

Our client is a medium sized firm located in Brisbanes CBD. With 7 partners and over 40 staff, they specialise in providing business services, taxation and audit services to family-owned businesses, as well as assisting business owners with their personal finance in the form of wealth creation through investment and superannuation.  Due to expansion, they are currently seeking an experience Manager to join their team.

Reporting directly to the partner, you will take your strong background in Business Advisory to provide a range of compliance and consulting services to your clients, including business development and maintenance.  You will be responsible for delegating and reviewing work performed by junior members of your team, as well as providing professional development support and advice to those undertaking their CA/CPA studies.  You will also be required to research and provide advice on taxation issues faced by your clients and be the main point of contact for any queries or assistance required.

To be eligible for this position you will ideally have had at least 7 years experience within Business Services in a Chartered Environment. It is envisaged that you will have completed your CA/CPA studies and have experience in training and mentoring staff. You will have outstanding communication skills as you will be required to liaise with internal and external customers on a regular basis.
