Our client is a leading resources organisation undergoing an exciting diversification of services underpinning a focus on growth and expansion into new markets. As a direct result of this growth and an internal promotion, they are seeking to appoint a Team Leader- Accounting to lead their team in Brisbane.

Reporting to the Manager- Accounting & Reporting, the focus of the Team Leader- Accounting will be to drive the team towards higher performance through the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting and advice to the Global Head office and the Region (Australia). This position is an integral part of meeting the month end reporting requirements as well as control related focuses surrounding the general and sub ledgers.  Industry specific duties surrounding costing, rebates and contracts will also feature as you establish yourself within this reputable business.

CPA/ CA qualified, you will be a natural leader with exceptional hands on financial accounting skills. With experience in presenting financial data to management, you have the ability to think laterally to find solutions and take the initiative to solve difficult accounting issues. Most importantly, you have a drive to succeed and provide a quality business service to your internal and external clients.
