An integral part of the Queensland Governments strategy of providing quality services to the state, our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to provide high level support in the determination of pricing strategies. Under a contract until June 2010 you will be a highly visible player in the determination of pricing strategy within a dynamic, CBD based team. You will provide high level advice to senior stakeholders in market and pricing determination and your duties will include Analysing cost and financial data for regulatory purposes Liaising with external consultants regarding strategy Provide high level support regarding policy advice, regulatory requirements and documents etc Reporting on progress regarding policy issues and resource allocation Financial modeling concerning pricing potentials
You will have relevant qualifications in Accounting and/or Economics and display demonstrated experience within a highly regulated industry in order to succeed in this role. Your highly developed analysis and modeling skills using MS Excel will be advantageous as will your ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders. You will be rewarded with a core position that influences and impacts key decisions.
