Our client, one of the state's largest electricity distributors is currently looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson for their western Sydney Branch.
This opportunity is a long term contract with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.
In order to be successful for this role you will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Extensive experience with AutoCAD and designing drawings/diagrams for a range of transmission projects
As well as experience design drafting for substation cable basement layouts and/or service layouts for road crossings
Be familiar with the interpretation of service searches and the transfer of this information to a base cadastral plan.
A certificate III in detail drafting (or equivalent) or sound knowledge in land/survey or mechanical drafting.
A current OHS White Card
A NSW Drivers License
Outstanding written and communication skills
The position is available for an immediate start.
