Our client is recognised as a leader in building innovation including the first multi storey modular building, curved roofs and integration of new materials and finishes. They have been specialists in Portable Buildings throughout NSW for over thirty years.
Their buildings are designed by a team of specialists with experience in architectural design, building code requirements, materials and construction techniques.
Requirements;
The right candidate must have the min 5 years experience in drafting. A technical knowledge of AutoCad and construction design detailing or experience in pre fabricated designs is a must. Previous portable building experience will also be advantageous.
Position;
As a vital part of the design team, this role consist of preparing ????? ????? designs for buildings in the Educational, Temporary Work Sites, Institutional and the Mining sectors. Situated in their Central West Sydney office our client guarantees support from other senior staff and progression to Design Management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed drawings for the manufacture, erection and installation of buildings
- Prepare presentation drawings for Tenders and Customer submissions
- Work closely with estimators,sales and external consultant.
- Ensure that building designs are adequately drafted and submitted for approvals
- Prepare drawing packages for the purpose of DA / CC submissions to the relevant authority
As buildings are manufactured at their premises, they areable to achieve shorter lead time and less disruption on site when compared to conventional in-situ construction methods. Additionally, they hold a wide range of buildings in stock which are available for immediate delivery and installation.
