Electrical Engineer

 

Our client is a global technology leader in defence and security with operations in over 50 countries. They design a wide range of technologically advanced vehicles used in the defence industry and are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for specialist medium-heavy vehicles, including wiring ????? ????? bus architectures, wiring ????? ?????, component specification, analysis and verification, as well as integrating these systems into vehicle designs.
 
Other duties you will also be responsible for in this position include:

• Actively participating in design planning meetings, reviews and other project meetings
• Creating, interpreting and analysing electrical drawings, technical documents and electronic systems
• Co-designing vehicle harnesses conforming to all relevant standards from concept to implementation

To be successful in this position you will be a tertiary qualified electrical engineer with experience in the design of electrical and electronic systems for vehicles, a fundamental knowledge of electronic systems, electrical wiring ????? ????? construction principles for automotive and military uses and the ability to design systems for military and specialist vehicles with limited guidance.
